The paths you almost took.

Crossed shows you where you and your friends almost met — the near-misses, the same coffee shops five minutes apart, the streets you both walked without knowing.

What it does

Every day, quietly. Nothing to remember, nothing to check in real time.

See your crossings

At the end of each day, discover the times you almost ran into a friend without realizing.

Set your comfort

Different friends, different closeness. Choose what you share and how you're notified — per friend, both ways.

Protect your home

Mark private zones around home or work. Nothing captured there is ever shared, even with your closest friends.

Built with your privacy first.

Crossed is designed so that even in a worst-case breach, no one — not us, not an attacker — could figure out where you live, work, or spend your time.

Locations are hashed on your device

Before anything leaves your phone, your GPS coordinates are converted into opaque geohashes — small rounded location cells. Your exact coordinates never reach our servers.

Matching happens on hashes, not coordinates

Our servers can only tell that you and a friend shared a hash. They cannot tell where that hash is in the world without prior knowledge of the area.

Private zones stay private

You choose zones — home, work, wherever matters — that are redacted at the source. Location points inside those zones never leave your device, not even as hashes.

Bilateral consent controls everything

You and each friend independently choose how much you share. The stricter setting always wins. Nobody can be surprised.
